Shawna Strickland, Executive Director
Hey, there, my name is Shawna Strickland, and I just recently moved to Washington. My long-time sweetheart of 30 years, Jason, and I recently relocated from south-central Texas to Okanogan to become the new student ministry leaders at New Life Church. I love being in community and sharing the vision of growing stronger family units through the resources CARENET NCW provides. The values I live by are centered in Christ Jesus: for life, love and to live in true victory of the first two. It is an honor to serve our communities as the new executive director for CARENET NCW.
Angel Ross, Remote Marketing Developer
Hi there! My name is Angel Ross. I have been with Care Net for 22 years. I love serving the women and families that walk through our doors. I married my high school sweetheart, Bruce Ross in 1993. After trying to get pregnant for 10 years we miraculously welcomed our baby girl, Faith, in 2003. The Lord has blessed us with a little farm, lots of chickens, pigs and a sweet lab named Marley. I love to decorate and paint. I love everything about the shabby-chic farmhouse look.
Erika Aguilar, Brewster Manager
I am originally from Mexico, I have lived in Brewster for a few years, but 20 years living here in the United States, I am married to my first love Fausto Martínez, we have two beautiful children; a 9-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy. I am grateful to Jesus Christ for having given me the opportunity to know and accept Him since 2011, since then I like to be and get involved in the events of my church and support as much as possible. I am also excited and grateful to God for allowing me to collaborate with CareNet helping pregnant women and counseling couples. I like to listen to people and give my best.
Lois Rhodes, Resource Advocate
Lois Rhoads begin volunteering for CARENET NCW in 1996 and has continued to have a heart for clients and their need for support. She says: “I love the partnership CareNet provides with their clients, addressing physical needs while recognizing the emotional, psychological, relational and spiritual needs. Delores Edleman, Financial Manager
Dolores began working at Care Net Pregnancy Center in May 2021. She brings with her, 20 years of Human Resources Management experience with Providence Everett Medical Center and Family Health Centers of Okanogan respectively. Prior to her career in Human Resources Management, she was responsible for all General Ledger accounting for a company which owned several large retail stores throughout Bush Alaska. She enjoys quilting, reading and helping people. Dolores is married to Fred, a retired College Instructor with North Seattle Community College. They currently live in Okanogan with their Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Dolly. Both are members of Community Presbyterian Church in Omak where Dolores is serves as the Service Team Leader and she is the current MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Coordinator.
Thomas Pruitt, Men's Mentor
Tom began volunteering with CARENET NCW in 2022. Following 50 years of heavy industry but all the time having a passion for people that hurt, Tom came to carenet as a mentor to young men involved in unexpected pregnancies. Tom is a member of Community Presbyterian Church of Omak and past board member. He is Married to Florence of 49+ years. He is the proud dad of 2 adopted daughters from Korea and 2 grandchildren.
